Terms & Conditions
These Terms & Conditions apply to services provided by Elec Side Ltd. By engaging our services, requesting a quotation or instructing us to carry out works, you agree to these terms unless otherwise agreed in writing.

1. General
Elec Side Ltd provides electrical engineering, compliance, installation, inspection and related services across commercial and residential projects.
2. Quotations
- All quotations are valid for 30 days unless otherwise stated
- Quotations are based on the information available at the time of pricing
- Any works outside the agreed scope may result in additional charges
3. Scope of Works
The scope of works will be set out in the quotation, proposal, specification or other agreed documentation.
Any changes requested after acceptance may affect cost, timescales and delivery.
4. Payment Terms
- Payment terms will be stated on the quotation or invoice
- We reserve the right to request a deposit or stage payments before or during works
- Late payment may result in suspension of works or delayed certification, documentation or completion
5. Access & Site Conditions
The client is responsible for providing:
- Safe and reasonable access to the site or property
- A suitable working environment
- Any necessary permissions or approvals required for access
- Availability of services or utilities where reasonably necessary
We reserve the right to suspend works if site conditions are unsafe or unsuitable.
6. Delays
Elec Side Ltd will not be liable for delays caused by matters outside our reasonable control, including site access issues, third-party contractors, supply chain issues, client changes or unforeseen site conditions.
7. Compliance & Certification
All works will be carried out in accordance with applicable UK regulations and relevant standards in force at the time of installation.
Certification and documentation will be provided where applicable and where the relevant stage of works has been completed and paid for in accordance with agreed terms.
8. Warranty & Defects
We take pride in delivering work to a professional standard. Any installation defects should be reported promptly so they can be assessed.
This does not cover:
- Misuse, neglect or accidental damage after completion
- Faults arising from existing systems outside the agreed scope
- Work altered, interfered with or added to by third parties
9. Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Elec Side Ltd shall not be liable for indirect or consequential loss, loss of profit, loss of revenue, loss of business opportunity or interruption to business.
Our liability in connection with any claim arising from the services provided shall be limited to the value of the work carried out under the relevant instruction or contract.
10. Cancellation
If works are cancelled after instruction, we reserve the right to charge for:
- Work already completed
- Time allocated and costs reasonably incurred
- Materials ordered or supplied
- Any non-recoverable third-party costs
11. Data Protection
Personal data is handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
12. Governing Law
These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of England and Wales.
